Well today he’s rolling, rolling, rolling keep that body rolling kin tar ooo. He is doing so much better at learning how to do things like climbing those bars of the cage and the little trees in the compound but he is still staying close to mom and watching out for Gentaro in case he tries to grab him again and run. Momotaro is watching Gentaro and making sure he doesn’t get close enough to Kintaro to hurt him and Genki. Good Dad.
Courage Kintaro, tu vas y arriver petit père !
Hope we can find out why Kintaro looks like he just left the pub and trying to find his way home..... He is strong with climbing well, just wonky on walking like me after a few drinks.....
You would think that his mom would break off one of those leaves and give it to him instead of what he tried to grab for one she ripped it out of his hand.I love these gorilla videos but the food situation just breaks my heart for all of them.
He was almost a year old here look how small he is he can't hardly even walk is so weak has no balance. She does not need another baby this should show everybody the one boy was taking away almost died because she had no milk and look at this baby she has no milk. And she never let this one out of her arms till he was 7 months old so it was after that before the keeper started stepping in supplementing his milk and baby food. He's about as big as a four or five month old baby gorilla here. She's a good mom she's just getting too old and she has no milk and she there's too much stress for her.
Amo questa famiglia di scimpanzé, il piccolo mi fa commuovere, è intraprendente, intelligente, troppo grazioso! Mi piacerebbe sapere se crescendo con insegnamenti umani cosa potrebbe imparare
The only thing I have to say is we all obviously take a great interest in these very special primates and any of our comments or concerns I believe come from a loving place. I was one of the people who were very critical of Genki when I saw her always playing keep away from the big brother who only wants to play with his little brother and sniff his butt and grab his little thimble like they all do to each other, and she not letting him do these things as well as to even hold him was really starting to piss me off. THEN, Gorilla Gorilla put a video history lesson in the forefront which explained a lot about who these apes were and where they came from. I didn't know that they had to take Gentaro away from Genki or he would have died because she wasn't providing enough milk and how she screamed at that loss. It explained that perhaps she has a lingering fear that the same thing was going to happen to Kintaro. I just wish she'd give Gentaro some playtime with his little baby brother.
I don’t understand what’s wrong with the baby he should be walking better. And his eyes look dilated?! Has he been checked out by a vet? Please let us know!
@@kathykay975 oh right thanks for letting me know Kathleen much appreciated thank you I really don't blame genki there mum for being so proactive of baby kintaro
There's something wrong with this baby gorilla. he can hardly stand up and take any more than a couple of steps on his own before falling back down on his face. He has gotten so dependent on his mother that he is hardly even trying anymore. This is a 10-month-old baby gorilla who isn't developing at all.
Jim i agree with you but be aware your comment could bring out the ugly in some people, I have been attacked because of my concerns about the baby gorillas growth, I'm still going to voice my concerns though, just thought you should know 😀
Jim, I had asked this question myself as I felt his legs weren't clasping and gripping Moms arms and back as naturally as other babies and his balance is off. I asked more of a question to the group of "Is it just me or does he seem to be struggling often" My point and question to viewers was more of saying maybe the reason sweet Genki held and guards Kintaro so much is "Maybe" he was born a bit weaker or under developed then healthier babies and only Genki could sense and understand this fact due to Gorillas sharp senses and knowledge of their babies. Maybe Genki felt she needed to wait until her little Prince was stronger and bigger before letting him reach normal milestones other babies reach earlier due to an issue only she could pick up. We all understand that Kintaro not being able to building his muscles and strength from being held so long didn't help either, but, I threw out this idea for others input and despite the comment below about nasty remarks, replies, I was very grateful to have had only respectful and kind replies to my opinion and question. We also need to remember that we only see a few minutes of videos posted from fans of a 24-7 day and there is so much we miss and don't know or see. I think many have the same thoughts as you posted but I know myself, I'm just glad to see progress of Mom and Baby and hoping each day he gets stronger and better at getting around and interacting with Dad and Brother. ;-) Also, ( below comment ) Sometimes the way certain people insult and bash others, the Zoo Staff and Genki make them a target for negative responses. We all have the right to voice our opinions and feelings but some people are cruel and blame many without knowing nothing about Staff, Genki and exactly what takes place. They are the experts but still insulted badly by people like us who are just fans and not experts with degrees or one on one knowledge of this or any other Gorilla family and I think the person being so harsh and not open at all to the fact that they may be dead wrong or unfair in harsh opinions makes others not too sympathetic to how they respond or think of them. That saying "its not what you say, but how you say it" Well, some people are nasty and they usually get a nasty reply but I hope you don't feel that because many agree with concern for Kintaro. Everyone seems very happy he is down and zooming around, but there has been concerns as to if his issues now are a reason of being held too long, maybe being weaker at birth or both. Some seem all is fine and sweet Kintaro just needs to build strength and catch up. Also remember the ground is really uneven and that must make it harder for him to get and keep his balance too. I just wanted to thank you for opinion and let you know others feel concerns too but you stated it with concern and kind heart. Others that bash usually get bashed back. You know by watching who. So, consider the source hun. Thanks!
@@ladyjulia2496 , no one in particular. Just those who bash and are very unkind then shocked when they get the same reply. Some are nothing but nasty, negative & very harsh in judgement. They usually get same reply is all i meant by my comment and that he shouldn't fear posting his opinion. We all have one but if you read back, some are very unfair and so damn negative and nasty all the time. Noting is ever positive, progress or kind. That takes a toll on those trying to be positive and see the good and progress in this family and staff. Its just sad that we are all too fast to hurt many because we only see tunnel vision and cant open our minds to other possibilities and our own mistakes in thinking. I love these families and nice to have pleasant and kind replies and share ideas, educate and joke with others. Some make it hard and just turns everything negative. There is so much history, sad pasts, etc to this family dynamic and just wish we could all just be more kind and supportive without the same nasty blames when we only know a fraction of what goes on behind the scenes and all the hard work we don't know about. Thats all. I didn't mean to single anyone by name but the ones never satisfied and never saying anything but soul crushing, unkind comments may recognize themselves. Sorry. I know, we all have our rights on here. Just gets to me at times the drama and some who seem to like bashing for reactions and stirring up drama. Life is too short and gets to me sometimes cause they never acknowledge any positive thing. there is ALWAYS SOMETHING they complain about. Just how i feel and don't mean to hurt anyone, just wish some could have some compassion and more positive open minded respect.
We should all be as determined and happy go lucky as sweet Kintaro. It is a joy to watch him develop and thrive . 🥰🥰

Maybe first , if they level the grounds Kintaro could walk and stand up better.

All you had to do was Google Kyoto zoo. All info on any gorilla family is on Google. I learnt the hard way...

What is the spot on the back of Kintaro's head?
